    Profile:

During his university days, Ohara trained at Animal Hamaguchi's dojo, before being initiated into New Japan in March, 1990. He debuted in June of that year, and many people noticed the striking similiarities between he and Hamaguchi. He left on an overseas learning excursion in March, 1992, learning the art of rulebreaking while in Germany's CWA promotion, before returning to New Japan in November. In October, 1993, he joined Shiro Koshinaka's anti-New Japan movement, titled Heisei Ishingun. He won his first New Japan title in June, 1999, when he and long-time partner, Tatsutoshi Goto, upset Kensuke Sasaki & Koshinaka to begin a two month reign as IWGP Tag Team Champions. He and Goto joined Masahiro Chono's Team 2000, another anti-New Japan army, in February, 2000. In June, 2001, he took interest in the ongoing vale tudo boom, and began utilizing a similar style, adopting the front neck lock as his finishing hold. He entered that scene in November, 2001, fighting Renzo Gracie. After a long absence from pro wrestling, he returned to New Japan in January, 2003, forming the Crazy Dogs with Goto and Hiro Saito to tackle the diabolical Makai Club. Utilizing many old style techniques, Ohara is an eccentric, often rabid wrestler, and lives up to his billing of being a "crazy dog".
