Profile:

Growing up, Fergal Devitt played soccer and Gaelic football, but always had a dream to become a pro wrestler. He achieved this dream when he debuted for NWA UK Hammerlock in 2000 at a young age. In November, 2005, he was initiated into New Japan's L.A. Dojo, where he continued to study pro wrestling. After impressing, he was invited to train in New Japan's main dojo in Japan, where in early 2006, he began the intense Japanese training style. In April, 2006, he made his New Japan debut against El Samurai, becoming the first foreign wrestler in many years to graduate from New Japan's world famous dojo. Although still very young, Devitt has made remarkably quick progress and has won comparisons to another New Japan foreign dojo graduate, Chris Benoit, and is one to keep both eyes on in the coming years.
