  • The NWA Intercontinental Tag Team Title was introduced to ZERO-ONE in 2001, becoming the company's first ever championship. It was briefly abandoned in late 2001, but brought back at the beginning of 2002 and has been a fixture since. Click each team's name to get a list of title defenses during their reign (if there is no link for a tandem, it means that they had no successful title defenses).

    1. (7/12/01 @ Zepp Tokyo) Shinjiro Otani & Yuki Ishikawa beat Steve Corino & Mike Rapada (13:57) by referee stop (Ishikawa beat Rapada) (decision match).
    -- Vacated in 10/01 when Ishikawa's BattlARTS promotion end it's alliance with ZERO-ONE.
    2. (1/6/02 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Shinjiro Otani & Masato Tanaka beat Tom Howard & Samoa Joe (18:29) when Tanaka used a running elbow smash on Joe (decision match).
    3. (10/20/02 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Nathan Jones & John Heidenreich beat Shinjiro Otani & Masato Tanaka (11:19) when Heidenreich used the Power Dunk on Tanaka.
    4. (10/26/02 @ Osaka Rinkai Sports Center) Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa beat Nathan Jones & John Heidenreich (10:32) when Ogawa pinned Heidenreich after the Oregotokarire.
    5. (12/15/02 @ Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan) Matt Ghaffari & Tom Howard beat Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa (12:33) when Ghaffari used a Ghaffari press on Ogawa.
    6. (4/29/03 @ Nagoya International Conference Hall) Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa (2) beat Matt Ghaffari & Tom Howard (14:03) when Ogawa pinned Howard after the Oregotokarire.
    -- Hashimoto & Ogawa stripped of the title by NWA chairman, Richard Arpin, on 5/2/03.
    7. (5/2/03 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Steve Corino & C.W. Anderson beat Kohei Sato & Hirotaka Yokoi (9:43) when Corino used an inside cradle on Yokoi.
    8. (8/31/03 @ Gifu Industrial Hall) Shinjiro Otani & Masato Tanaka (2) beat Steve Corino & C.W. Anderson (13:04) when Otani used a cobra hold on Corino.
    9. (2/19/04 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Takao Omori & Shiro Koshinaka beat Shinjiro Otani & Masato Tanaka (17:48) when Omori used an Axe Bomber on Tanaka.
