The NWA Intercontinental Tag Team Title was introduced to ZERO-ONE in 2001, becoming the company's first ever championship. It was briefly abandoned in late 2001, but brought back at the beginning of 2002 and has been a fixture since. 4. (10/26/02 @ Osaka Rinkai Sports Center) Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa beat Nathan Jones & John Heidenreich (10:32) when Ogawa pinned Heidenreich after the Oregotokarire.
5. (12/15/02 @ Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan) Matt Ghaffari & Tom Howard beat Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa (12:33) when Ghaffari used a Ghaffari press on Ogawa.
6. (4/29/03 @ Nagoya International Conference Hall) Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa (2) beat Matt Ghaffari & Tom Howard (14:03) when Ogawa pinned Howard after the Oregotokarire.
