In October, 2004, a one night six man tag tournament was held in Fukuoka, sponsored by Yuko. It was comprised mostly of young generation members, with a few veterans thrown into the mix. It would come down to three young "supernovas" against three heels in the final, with the crowd favourites taking the trophy.

Yuko 6 Man Tag Team Tournament (10/17/04)

Semi Final: Mitsuya Nagai, Katsuyori Shibata & Ryota Chikuzen beat Hiro Saito, Tatsutoshi Goto & Toru Yano (9:40) when Chikuzen used a diving body press on Goto.
Semi Final: Shinsuke Nakamura, Blue Wolf & Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Togi Makabe, Yutaka Yoshie & Hiroshi Tanahashi (15:03) when Wolf used a lariat on Makabe.
Final: Shinsuke Nakamura, Blue Wolf & Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Mitsuya Nagai, Katsuyori Shibata & Ryota Chikuzen (11:15) when Nakamura used a standing cross armbreaker on Nagai.
