This TV guide contains information about New Japan's World Pro Wrestling (WPW) Complete Edition on BS Asahi going back to the very first show. In late 2000, TV Asahi's satellite network, BS Asahi, began airing a 2 hour, 25 minute "perfect edition" of New Japan's TV tapings, which for years had only had a 60 minute timeslot on national TV. This gave serious fans a chance to view the full product, from the opening match young lions to the main event superstars. Samurai! TV also hosted the show, airing it usually about two weeks after the BS Asahi version. The show ended in April, 2005, after nearly five years, and was replaced by a show centered on the junior division.
