After splitting from CTU and leaving behind his heel ways, Katsushi Takemura struggled for results in New Japan's junior division. A bitter feud with CTU led to him facing all five of their native members one after another on a special junior series in August, 2005. Takemura won great support from the crowd, despite losing four of his matches, and left the series with a win over his generation rival, Hirooki Goto.

3. (8/19/05 @ Tokyo Dome City Sky Theater) Jado beat Katsushi Takemura (14:04) with the Crossface of JADO.
4. (8/20/05 @ Tokyo Dome City Sky Theater) Gedo beat Katsushi Takemura (14:44) with the Gedo clutch.
5. (8/21/05 @ Tokyo Dome City Sky Theater) Katsushi Takemura beat Hirooki Goto (8:30) with a Dragon sleeper.
