On the 1/4/95 Tokyo Dome show, New Japan held a tournament titled Final Countdown BVD, based mainly around Antonio Inoki. It also featured Tony Palmore, WCW star Sting, and MMA fighter Gerard Gordeau. It was to be Inoki's day, as he scored consecutive victories to win the tournament.
